How to request for seats and meals?
Find out how to request for your favourite seats and meals before you fly.
If you are travelling in Suites, First Class or Business Class, you can request for a specific seat any time from the time of booking. If you are travelling in Economy Class, you can also request for a specific seat if you have purchased your ticket through our website..
If you purchase the ticket for your infant through our website, we will assign you a seat at a bassinet point, depending on availability.
We will do our best to meet your seat request. However, we may occasionally need to reassign seats, due to operational constraints and rescheduling. We appreciate your understanding in these special circumstances.
You can enjoy an expanded choice of dining options, including special dietary and religious meals. If you are travelling in Suites, First Class or Business Class, our exclusive Book the Cook service allows you to order your main course in advance. Book the Cook
You can order in advance a gourmet main course from an extensive selection of fine a-la-carte dishes. With a wide menu selection for flights departing from Singapore and 13 other airports, there will definitely be something for you. Please make your request at least 24 hours before flight departure.
Young passengers (from 2 to 11 years of age) travelling in Suites, First Class or Business Class can select their main course from our exclusive inflight Yummy! meal service. Please make the request at least 24 hours before flight departure.
We will make reasonable efforts to accommodate requests for meals to be free from nuts. A nut-free special meal does not contain peanuts and tree nuts, and their derivatives. Tree nuts include almonds, Brazil nuts, cashew nuts, hazelnuts, pistachios, walnuts, pecans and macadamias.
However, we seek your understanding that we do not offer nut-free flights as it is not unusual for passengers on our flights to be served meals and snacks containing nuts or nut derivatives. Also, we also do not have control over passengers bringing their own products containing nuts or nut derivatives on board our flights.
We will also not be able to guarantee against accidental cross-contamination that may occur within flight kitchens in our network and the possibility of residues of nut or other nut oils being passed on to the upholstery and other surfaces, or circulated via the air conditioning systems.
Should you require a nut-free meal, please contact your travel agent or local Singapore Airlines office to arrange for the meal at least 48 hours before flight departure. You may need to arrange for an alternative route through your travel agent or local Singapore Airlines office if none of our other special meals (for example a fruit platter) meets your requirement.
Once again, we request that you take all necessary precautions, bearing in mind the risk of exposure. If you have any concerns about your fitness to travel, we recommend that you discuss your travel plans with your doctor, bringing along this information.
