Air Uganda to reduce Zanzibar service in Jan-2012

Air Uganda, the expanding national carrier of one of East Africa's fastest developing economies, has announced that it is launching new twice weekly services to Mombasa in Kenya and Zanzibar in Tanzania.

Air Uganda has also said that it is planning to acquire a new fleet of aircraft aimed at developing more domestic and regional services, including more frequency on the trunk routes between Entebbe and Nairobi route plus Entebbe to Juba.

Beginning January 2012, Air Uganda, which began operations in 2007, will begin handling its own aircraft at its hub at Entebbe International Airport.
