Kampala-based airline, Air Uganda has announced that has introduced business class lounges facility “Crane class” aboard its MD model planes.
Tanzania based daily, DailyNews, reported that Air Uganda - Tanzania Country Manager, Lucy Ismail, last Friday announced in Dar es Salaam that Crane class is modelled to accommodate high profile personalities who wish to fly business class on normal passenger planes.
“The Crane class is modelled between business and economy classes”, Ms Ismail said, while introducing the latest innovation of the airline to corporate customers. The Crane class has enough legroom, lounge access and extra baggage.
It was also discovered that Air Uganda (AU) which flies between Entebbe International Airport (EBB) and Dar es Salaam’s Julius Nyerere International Airport (JNIA), will soon start service to Kilimanjaro International Airport.
‘A logical next step for us is to open up Arusha to East Africa and I am delighted to announce that we have started planning for this,’ Ms Ismail noted.
